Riot Breaks Out at Trash Talk Show in L.A.

Last night in L.A., Trash Talk played a free show to celebrate the launch of a new Nike skateboarding collection. But chaos broke out after the band took the stage, when a mass of fans were turned away and rushed the gates. Riot cops began pepper-spraying people. The scene was documented in a lengthy string of micro-transmissions retweeted by the band.

The band said they did not have any contact with the cops themselves, according to a publicist. An image of the cops lined up can be seen here, via Instagram user @mirandamakaroff84.

This is certainly not the first time an Odd Future-related show has been attended by the police. Trash Talk's album for Odd Future Records is out October 9; read our "Update" interview here.

Check out footage from inside and outside the show, below, as well as Pitchfork.tv's "+1" with Trash Talk.
